Friday Coaching (By The Beryl Collective)

Women-led coaching sessions by a collective of cycling clubs from across Yorkshire to provide a space for all girls and women from the age of 8 all the way up to Veteran and Masters Women. (Psst there's really no such thing as too old!)

These sessions are designed to build confidence and skills and will be split into a minimum of 3 ability groups with dedicated coaches and their own space.

Youth Sessions will start at 6 pm prompt and run for 1 hour until 7 pm.

Older/Confident Youths can then continue on until 8 pm with the Senior women, if they choose, or may start with Seniors for the full session.

Junior and Seniors Group will start arriving from 6 pm with a view to being warmed up ready for coaching to begin at 6.30 pm - 8 pm.

These sessions require a basic level of bike handling (for Junior and Seniors Session, you'll need a drop handlebar style bike).  These are not suitable for those who are brand new to cycling, we recommend heading to British Cycling Breeze Events to get started on your cycling journey, then joining us once you are ready.

Please Note:

All our events are open to all Cis and Trans women, and non-binary people who are comfortable in a space that centres the experience of women.

On occasion, there may be coaches that are men on hand to support but will always be in support of our women coaches.

You don't need to be part of a club to attend our events! But if you'd like some advice and details on local clubs for you we are of course happy to help.

Please be open to coaches’ feedback on whether a specific group is appropriate for your child, ability groups will ultimately be their decision.
